EasyServe Support
Serve speed from sound, measured on your phone
How to use it
- Prop your phone on the net band, in the middle, facing the court.
- Tap Start a session, then walk back and serve.
- Flip to the front camera first if you want to read your speeds from the baseline.
- Tap the stop button when you are done, and every serve appears with its speed and a clip.
It is not hearing my serves
- Wind is the main culprit. Shield the phone or pick a calmer day.
- The phone needs to hear both the strike and the bounce, so the middle of the net band works best.
- Very noisy courts, nearby traffic or several players hitting at once make the two impacts harder to pick out.
- Tell the app when it gets one wrong. After enough corrections you can retrain it to your court from Settings.
How accurate is it?
Every reading comes with a margin. Automatic readings assume average serve geometry, which is the largest source of error. If you want a tighter number, open a serve and mark where you stood, where the ball landed and where the phone was.
